Hot Tuner Returns!
Australia's toughest modified cars go into battle AFTER a year's sabbatical, the Hot Tuner Challenge is back - and it's coming very soon. Next issue, in fact.
For now , we thought we'd tease you with one of the contestants - and some further info. Tekno's stunning matte black modified Aventador is just one of the 23 monster converging on Sydney Motorsport Park and Western Sydney International Dragway for two days of flat-out testing on circuit, strip and dyno.
From humble German hatchbacks to dyno-melting Aussie brutes to flame-spitting Italian exotica, every possible type of car will be represented. The beauty of Hot Tuner, though, is sometimes it's the unlikeliest of cars capable of posting jaw-dropping results.
As per past years, contestants are split into three categories: $0-75,000, $75-150,000 and $150,000+, with modification cost being included in the price for the first time. Our coverage will be spread over the next two issue, the first of which is on sale July 10, the overall winner to be announced in our September issue, on sale August 7.
Sorry to tease you but for now, you'll have to live off Easton Chang's stunning shot of Bruce Wayne's company car.
