Fi EXHAUST Race Version for the Porsche 992 GT3 RS delivers dyno-proven gains of up to +25 WHP without ECU tuning, unlocking performance and sound that the factory system is unable to achieve under modern emissions and noise constraints.
Manufactured from high-grade T304 stainless steel, this direct bolt-on Race Version replaces the restrictive factory exhaust with a freer-flowing, motorsport-inspired design—resulting in sharper throttle response, increased mid-range torque, and a more linear power delivery across the entire rev range. From daily driving to track use, the Fi EXHAUST Race Version elevates the 992 GT3 RS driving experience with an exhilarating, race-inspired soundtrack, while retaining full compatibility with Porsche’s factory exhaust valve control.
From peak horsepower to mid-range torque, the Fi Porsche 992 GT3 RS Race Version delivers measurable gains throughout the rev range, particularly from approximately 4,000 RPM to redline, where the factory system begins to taper off.
By restoring exhaust flow and reducing backpressure, the engine breathes more freely—resulting in improved responsiveness and sustained power delivery, all achieved without ECU tuning.
Porsche 992 GT3 RS is already a benchmark in naturally aspirated performance, proven on circuits such as the Nürburgring. However, increasingly strict emissions and noise regulations inevitably restrict the engine’s true potential.
The Fi EXHAUST Race Version addresses these limitations through a motorsport-focused design featuring:
• Long-tube catless headers
• High-flow X-pipe muffler
• Significant weight reduction, replacing the 37.2 lb (16.87 kg) factory exhaust
The result is restored exhaust flow, reduced mass, and a raw, race-bred sound profile that complements the GT3 RS’s high-revving nature—previously muted by factory emissions hardware.
FAQ — Porsche 992 GT3 RS Fi EXHAUST Race Version How much performance gain can I expect?
Dyno Results (same vehicle, consistent conditions):
Stock Exhaust
• 252.46 HP @ 4,838 RPM
• 395.49 HP @ 6,800 RPM
• 409 Nm @ 6,800 RPM
Does this system require ECU tuning?
The Fi EXHAUST Race Version is designed to replace entire factory exhaust and therefore would involve removal of OPF/GPF filters on EU cars, and on US / Non-OPF vehicles, removal of catalysts.
These factory component removal would cause a CEL (check engine light) unless a simulator or tune is used. Will this exhaust trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL)?
Yes. When installed in Race Version setup, the removal of OPF/GPF filters (EU) or catalysts (US / Non-OPF) will trigger a Check Engine Light on vehicles with active emissions monitoring if no ECU-level solution or simulator is applied.
Is the Porsche 992 GT3 / RS Race Version Exhaust System compatible with aftermarket or factory components?
The Fi EXHAUST Race Version is engineered as a complete replacement for the factory exhaust system and is intended to be used as a full, matched setup.
If you wish to retain factory headers, install only a high-flow muffler, or combine components from multiple brands, we recommend the Fi EXHAUST ( Standard Version ) instead. The Standard Version muffler and headers can be installed separately and may be combined with factory or third-party components, provided they use OEM-equivalent mounting points and dimensions.
How does Fi EXHAUST valvetronic control work on the 992 GT3 RS?
The Fi EXHAUST Race Version reuses the factory Porsche electronic valve actuators.
Valve operation is controlled automatically through the OEM drive modes:
• Normal mode
• Sport / Track modes allow more aggressive valve opening for maximum sound and performance
No additional valve controller is required for standard operation.
Do the valves need calibration after installation?
Yes. Valve calibration using Porsche PIWIS (or equivalent diagnostic software) could be recommended after installation to ensure correct valve positioning and fault-free operation.
Because the factory valve actuators are transferred to the Fi EXHAUST muffler, the valve end positions may differ slightly from the original factory setup. Performing the “Exhaust Valve Relearn” procedure in 992 setting allows the vehicle to cycle the valves through their full range, resetting the open and closed endpoints to match the new exhaust system.
If recalibration is not performed, it could trigger a CEL.
How does Fi EXHAUST improve sound compared to stock?
The Race Version delivers a deeper, more aggressive, race-inspired tone, with increased volume and clarity underload, while remaining controlled during low-speed driving depending on drive mode.
The sound profile is engineered to match the GT3 RS’s naturally aspirated character—high-revving, sharp, and engaging.
Is this system a direct bolt-on?
Yes. The Fi EXHAUST Race Version is a direct bolt-on replacement, designed to mount to factory locations without cutting or permanent modification.
Which models is this exhaust compatible with?
The Fi EXHAUST system is compatible with the Porsche 992 GT3 RS and 992 GT3 models. It supports both Non-OPF versions (such as U.S. and Canadian cars) and OPF-equipped European models.
All Fi EXHAUST exhaust systems are equipped with valvetronic technology. This technology is not only used to control sound volume, but also enhance overall performance of the vehicle. Before the inception of this technology, horsepower and torque were irreconcilable contradictions in the design of exhaust systems. This allowed sports cars to have high torque power at low rev speeds and even higher horsepower capability at high rev speeds.
Fi EXHAUST headers boost the rate of the of the exhaust flow out of the engine compared to the OEM stock exhaust manifolds. It the perfect combination with Fi EXHAUST free flowing larger-diameter pipes and mufflers. For selected car models long tube headers are available to boost horsepower performance.
Fi EXHAUST Pro Control System control system consist of intelligent control box, sporty 2 button style remote control and mobile App.
*The mobile App scans and deletes CEL using manual or Auto scan on the engine startup.
* Monitor real-time valve status with Fi EXHAUST Pro App’s intuitive and friendly interface.
* Assign Auto Mode data values. Afterwards the system will intelligently detect engine RPM/Speed/Turbo Boost and turn on the valves.
* Each remote control button can be assigned with 1 function to open/close the valves or activate Auto Mode delivering more precision in the hands of the driver.
* The design is smooth and offers a nice grip, and the aluminum alloy ring can be customized in 14 different colors or switched to forged carbon with a unique marble like texture.

The intelligent valve functionality can be controlled using OEM sport button/mode to switch between valves ON/OFF and regulate desired sound volume. FI EXHAUST remote control is not needed and is an optional upgrade to have more control over exhaust valve behavior.

The gold ceramic coating protects from corrosion, reduces heat exposure to heat sensitive components in the engine bay and keeps temperature low. It’s a great way to improve longevity of the exhaust and other components prone to thermal degradation like wiring. In addition avoid discoloration after extended use and enjoy the lasting look of the exhaust that will never go out of style.
Fi EXHAUST eliminates traditional thermal insulation materials that contain toxic substances, and directly coats the exhaust pipe with a nano-ceramic coating to protect from corrosion, reduce heat exposure to heat sensitive components in the engine bay and keeps temperature low. It’s a great way to improve longevity of the exhaust and other components prone to thermal degradation like wiring.
OPF is also known as particulate filter or GPF gasoline particulate filter. In recent years, new car models will be equipped with this filter on the exhaust system in order to comply with increasingly stringent environmental regulations. Fi EXHAUST versions will also be developed on OPF and non-OPF vehicles to make sure fitment is precise.
