When he’s not chasing championship gold, Hunter Lawrence finds peace behind the wheel—cruising in high-revving, naturally aspirated machines. But the factory sound on the GT3 RS just didn’t cut it. So we gave it some bark. And here’s what he had to say after the Fi setup went in:
“Fi EXHAUST crushed it. This thing is a badass. It sounds exactly how it should have sounded straight from the factory. So I’m convinced. I’m a buyer. Open valve, closed valve. It’s rowdy. It puts some character into this thing. RS’s are supposed to be for the bad boys. And this transformed it.” – Hunter Lawrence
The cold start delivers a noticeably deeper growl with the G87 M2 single mid-pipe setup, it’s evident both at idle and through the rev range—especially below 4,000 RPM. While there’s a slight hint of rasp here and there, which is the reality of the S58 engine. But it’s definitely more controlled compared to the dual mid-pipe setup. If you’re someone who prefers a less raspy exhaust note without sacrificing that aggressive tone, this is a solid choice.
The Fi exhaust system fully unleashes the roar and power of the Lamborghini Gallardo's LP560-4 5.2L V10 engine, while the integrated valvetronic technology adds practicality for everyday driving. Drivers can seamlessly switch between open and closed modes. When the valves are closed, the exhaust gases pass through a muffler, reducing the sound volume and minimizing noise to the surroundings.
This is what Steve Hamilton from TheHamiltonCollection had to say about our setup: "They did a great job. It sounds really good. Huge thanks to Fi for this amazing exhaust. We will keep using them as partners because they build awesome quality products and it just sounds better than anything else that I’ve heard. Hand down. "
