Celebrating the 75th anniversary of Ferrari, ZACOE draws inspiration from Ferrari’s very own GT3 race car model 488 and“赤兔ChiTu”the legendary warhorse from Chinese classic Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
In collaboration with ZACOE Performance team we picked out one of our favorite models from the Ferrari lineup to reimagine the V8 engine’s soundtrack and luxurious sportiness in one performance package.
The inspiration behind ZACOE carbon fiber armour is drawn from pages of historical Romance of the Three Kingdoms novels. The story tells of a powerful and battle-tested steed “赤兔ChiTu” that forms an inseparable bond with its rider. The kit takes these characteristics and accentuates the sculpted Ferrari 488 GTB body lines.
The front lip is inspired by the weapon of Lu Bu and 488 GT3 EVO, the notch design on the front lips gives the 488 front fascia richer style and a strong sense of motorsport feeling. The vehicle can be more stable and precise while cornering or under high speeds.
According to ZACOE, the front lip is inspired by the 488 GT3 EVO and the weapon of Lu Bu, the famous rider of ChiTu, who’s considered as the greatest warrior of his time. The notch design on the front lips gives the 488 front fascia richer style and a strong sense of motorsport feeling The vehicle can be more stable and precise while cornering or under high speeds. When a vehicle is traveling at high speed the air around is compressed and stability is weakened , which lowers driver’s confidence about the control of the vehicle. The new upgrades brush these concerns aside. A set of front lips can guide the front air flow smoothly to avoid turbulent air and import air into the vehicle for better heat dissipation.
According to ZACOE, The rear side flaps are inspired by the domineering peacock feather of Lu Bu’s iconic “antenna” war headpiece.

The side skirts are inspired by Lu Bu’s leg armor from Dynasty Warriors 9. The two-piece carbon fiber side skirt can avoid air getting into the bottom of the vehicle and dredge the turbulent air underneath the vehicle.

To faithfully present the combat feeling of GT3 racing, ZACOE designed a swan-shaped carbon fiber rear wing similar to the original 488 GT3 EVO race car but with daily usability, less-aggressiveness, and an elegant touch. The body kit design is also heavily influenced by the Three Kingdom story. If you are a fan of Dynasty Warriors, do the rear side flaps remind you something about Lu Bu? According to ZACOE, the rear side flaps are inspired by the domineering peacock feather of Lu Bu’s iconic “antenna” war headpiece. Feather on headwear is for identification of one’s ranking in ancient battlefields. Therefore, the diffuser side flaps not only stabilize the rear flow, but also rank ChiTu owners above other Prancing Horse owners.

Our exhaust system completes this performance package with a thrilling soundtrack and awakens the powerful horse trapped inside. Additionally for this project we developed brand new carbon fiber tips. They use the same carbon fiber pattern as seen on Ferrari and match perfectly with ZACOE body kit. Ferrari drivers can now live out the myth of 赤兔ChiTu and take a throne of the king of the urban jungle. But not at all can be crowned. The ZACOE x Fi EXHAUST 赤兔ChiTu 488 Performance Package is limited to only 5 units.
The carbon fiber tips are specially developed for the ChiTu performance package. The pattern on the carbon fiber is the same used on Ferrari and perfectly matches with the ZACOE body kit.
